I know, I know, I am being pedantic, but why is the famous RAF 617 squadron have such a average experience/morale? They were the famous dambusters squadron, and at least in GG's Bombing the Reich game they had the highest experience of all of bomber command.

Hmm, they lost 8 of 19 crews in the dambuster raids, afterwards the commander went on promo tour in the US.
But as they were understood as specialist/elite squadron we should probably use at least 80 experience and 85 morale for this unit, maybe even assign modified lancaster specials

They still had very experienced 2nd tour crews even after the losses of the Dams raid, until well into 1944. Even then they were hand picked.

Although I wonder if they should be there at all - I am not sure the bombing model really allows their role to be modeled. The dams raid is before the game starts. Their following raids with the 12000lb HC (=3 blockbusters joined together) would be ok, but I am not sure the Tallboy and Grand Slam bombs would be covered properly (even if they were in the game which they don't seem to be - not sure what the 12000 DP is meant to be). In principle the use of the anti hard and anti soft ratings would cover it, but I don't know what ground targets are hard (as distinct from ground units)?

Ideally, V weapons site should have a variable hardness, UBoats in France should be harder, but most other targets should be much less affected by Tallboys.

I have them changed to 85 exp/morale, equipped with Lancaster specials which got a modifed early loadout with 4000lb bombs

12000 DP is Tallboy (DP =Deep Penetration not dual purpose!), I had only seen it as a MC classification
