The Siberians apparently are being triggered around the May 1941. The Strategy Guide says from Dec 1st 1941 and automatically on May 1942. Also the Russians have heavy tanks before the 6 turns needed to construct them. British reinforcements arrive in Egypt instantly after a triggering event. Seems there should be a on turn delay for going around Africa. Maybe my spies are slow?

Hi Jack59

I've checked the Siberian script and it's not set to fire until the 1st December 1941 so I'm a bit confused as to how it could happen any earlier.

With the Heavy Tanks, do you mean that if you buy them they are available for deployment in less than the required time? Note that the Production Delay in the official campaigns is in Months not Turns, so I don't know if that makes a difference here.

Please could you let me know which version are you playing?

Also, is this an official campaign or a modded one?

The British reinforcements arriving in Egypt may be ok, as scripts triggered by events do not have a delay built into them, but I'm unsure of the other two things you've mentioned.

Bill

Sorry about that I read a saved game list in did not scroll down. Stupid of me playing multiple tangent games and lost track of the date. Anyways I thing this is a really great and well balanced game. The AI has done a great job in slowing the German advance town by town in Russia! Still am surprised about the heavy tank appearing, but maybe the AI researched heavily in production rates. As a newbe player I testing too many research avenues. Lots of strategy choices make every game different. It will be interesting to play a head to head game.
