I'm a new player and I have trouble getting the refueling right. I can set the refigure time to 80 and will refuel on the way to the target. The game sends me back to refuel just when I'm ready to attack even though I have plenty of fuel. Can you change the configuration number say to a lower number say 10 while the mission is running. Seems like a hard way to have to do it.

What mission type are you using? Mission refuelling settings? Aircraft type? Loadout? Distance to target? Tanker type and location relative to target? Etc etc etc.

Scenario Canary's Cage F/A-18A Hornet EF-1 Loadout GBU-10E/B LGB [MK84] Strike radius 420 mi 346 to target
First try no refueling and some planes returned bingo fuel. Don't remember why probably dodging sams or setting course to avoid sams
Second try had refuel up and after take off tried to make planes refuel but would not
Third try set in configure start looking for tanker at 80% did refuel but stopped short of target and returned to refuel without attacking target
Another try Planes returing to base at Bingo tried to redirect to refuel but would not eventhough refueling planes closer. Looking for some setting that I can set and forget and not have to micromanage. Thanks for responding

80% is way too high that will make them refuel way too soon. I played through Canarys Cage and completed it and that was before the tanker planner existed. I take it you're striking Sidi Slimane AB in Morocco? or the enemy surface convoy with their landing craft?
