Hello Everyone! Question: I'm curious if anyone has ever tried to make, or has successfully created, a CMANO scenario that uses a Role Playing Game type model. I *think* it can be done with LUA: Use LUA keys to store $ or XP amounts to simulate a currency. "Level up" your entire fleet or just single units; start at cadet and can work up to ace, and also start out with a very basic force or limited cash. Earn "experience" points or $ through defeating progressively harder enemy forces. that currency can be spent on increasing side proficiency, and bigger, badder, more technically advanced equipment. Purchases can be made in port (?) through the special actions menu. LUA scripting could be used to generate increasingly lethal opfor(s), and could keep track of your cash/XP with key stores. And, of course, you can script the "purchasing" of units by using scenedit_addunit () and the like. Nukes could be hideously expensive. Too many nukes used? Make the weather horrible to simulate fallout. Then perhaps have the option to purchase better weather. The sky's the limit, so to speak... Sorry, this could be a really stupid idea, but I had to ask if this exists or if someone has tried this... Cheers, Nick G
