The Nakajima-5 also goes in the Sally Ic, and you have 3 squadrons of 1cs in Korea to start the game. Another squadron of 27 Sally Ics will arrive later. You have about 80 Nakajmi 5s in the pool to start. Typically, you either build Topsy Is with these or Sally Ics (usually Topsies).

Also, engine use is scenario specific; most would be the same but there are some small variations

Tojo uses HA-34 in scenario 1

you are also missing Kawasaki Ki-32 Mary, which is one of the few Japanese aircraft that uses inline engines (a license built BMW VI)

You can conveniently access this list in game in exact same form for any scenario.
Use Intelligence screen -> Aircraft replacement pool, and sort by engine.

TBN, also works for upgrade paths, another popular source of confusion

Thanks, I pulled the info from several sources. Added the other Tojo's. And Mary with a Kawasaki (early) engine.

Thanks for the list, very useful.

Any idea where the Ki-30 Ann is being produced?

You keep asking this but the answer may vary from user to user depending on scenario and, if the game has started, what changes they have made.
To check your own situation:
- click the Industry button at the top of the main map screen to display all your industry.
- click the "All Industry" text to de-select everything
- click on the "Air" text to display only the aircraft manufacturing.
- scroll through the list

If there are no factories producing the Ann, production has already been discontinued. If you want to keep it going you will have to convert another factory to producing the Ann.

At start (stock scen1 at least) there's no Kate production IIRC. So you need to start some and decide what to produce. The Kate2 uses the Ha-35 IIRC and there's quite a large demand for this engine WRT production. There are a number of engines in the pool ready for use by the Kate1 and its the one I choose to produce early in the game. With the few Kate2's already in the pool, the combination of the two A/C should hold you over 'til the Jill come into play.
