I have lost 2/3 PBEMs to real life. I have room to do another and might like to stand in for an abandoned game. It would be nice to move beyond summer '42. I generally play Allies but could assume either side at any point in the game. My installs are Beta 1.7.11.25.6 and a slightly earlier one I cant access right now. I generally play DBB with extended map and stacking limits. I'm not even sure if the stock stuff still runs. I can generally be relied on for a turn/day. I prefer a gentlemanly match and don't want to play someone who takes this distraction and himself very seriously. I'm quite sure my opponents would provide references if required.

hi Pontius,

Im very interested in a new game as allied player. Finished a GC against AI but it became boring in the end and AI is stupid. Not experienced in a pbem, but can do one turn/day. House rules.

My age is 58 years, teacher in rl, living in Germany and not an "egoshooter". I prefer a gentlemanlike style of the game.

Dirk

The best of luck finding an easy-going, fun, and worthy opponent.

Are you going to do an AAR?

Good lord no! I ended up with 2 more games for a total of 3! I'm not good at technical luxuries that make for a good aar.
