Why is it that when playing a beach assault,the game will crash to the SPWAW main menu?This happened in version 4.5 and continues to happen in version 5.1.This does not occur when playing a beach assault from the scenario menu,ie;Dieppe,Omaha etc...This occurs when playing a beach assault in the battle generator,using either random maps or maps I made myself.Regardless of which forces I am using,or whether I'm defending or attacking.If anyone else is is having this problem,I would be greatful for any ideas or suggestions you may have.Further to this,I have been on a few game forums boards,but none of them match the generosity of spirit or helpfulness it has been my priviledge to recieve on this one.Many thanks!It is an honour to participate in such a community of avid and dedicated wargamers! I've taken to opening the game from mech.exe rather than autorun.exe. You miss all the opening credits, etc., but I rarely get crashes anymore. However, when it does happen, the autosave feature should kick in and you'll be able to reopen to where you were. (At least it has for me.) It's frustrating, but not fatal.
