I get this error all the time. Pretty much 100% when I do a replay. I noticed another thread from earlier this year which seemed the same, but there was no resolution posted. I was using a couple graphical mods, so I got rid of them..deleted everything and reinstalled the game using steam. Still got the error. I changed a the #Custom_Bitmap and Interface from 1 to 0 in the campaign folder....still get the same error. If I don't run a replay, I can sometimes get through a turn...but most of the time I will get a crash. Is there some other info you may want? I could post a dxdialog, but I keep my drivers up to date so not sure if it would be of much use. If it is any help, it usually seems to happen when it is thinking about a hidden unit during the replay. When I scroll the map on a turn is when it crashes, so it may be hitting the same hidden unit.
