Just got the plane upgrade paths straightened out.

Changed some of the production and research numbers better reflecting what we have been talking about.

It is very easy to do, put a date of 4112 in the resize 1 box and an appropriate size,
24 for fighters, 18 for DBs and 12 for TBs.

I can do it in a few hours if you will send me the files.

My email if you want is Adm.Bill.Brown( at ) gmail (dot) com

Here is a picture

I have taken that out of the Japanese groups but could easily put it in with the Allies. Think I was confused by what you were asking! Feel a bit like a dolt at the moment now that you posted the screenshot.

From the Sub Thread:

So the USN get three that can resize and the IJN gets all of theirs?

No. You inferred. ALL pre-war US CV/CVL ships can: Lex, Sara, King's Mountain, Ely, Langley, Yorktown, Enterprise, Hornet, and Wasp. Make sense? The others come in and do their thing as per normal.

This still has not been done yet. Any chance it could get done this time?

DONE. This time FOR CERTAIN! All US Pre-War CVs and both CLV have this added to their squadrons.

A6M5 still upgrades to the George in BtS Lite. In BtS it does not.

John, if a comparison report between BTS and BTS Lite would be helpful, let me know. I can generate one pretty quickly. Just let me know what two scenario files you want compared (list link for each). I'll be gone to watch the game this afternoon, but I should be able to do that late this afternoon.

Oh, sorry. Yes, it IS like that. There is a difference between BtS and BtS Lite that you should take a look at. The other post I wrote without my brain being totally awake, and had to edit when I realized things were not quite how my brain had processed them.

Will take a deeper look once I get home. Had a wedding over the weekend.

Art Files have been uploaded to the site. They are on the art page and the BTS page listed as "New Art 4.0+"

This art includes Juan's Tosa and Adm Dadman's Ranger, Chichibu, and Chesapeake.

Thanks for the help fellas!

Having trouble with this. Copied them to the appropriate art folders (I think) but can't see them in-game, when I select those classes. Could someone else please check if they are visible?

I have them, but not installed until tonight. I would open up the Editor (Ship Class tab) and double check to ensure the new ART has the correct bitmap for each of these new ships.

Ok... new art has numbers 409, 410, 840, 841 (Tosa & Chichibu); 705, 706, 840, 841 (Chesapeake & Ranger).

In the database, Kaga is assigned bitmap 409, Chichibu 840, Cheasapeake 700, and Ranger 840. Only Chesapeake seems to be wrong.

I can see Tosa (Kaga-class), Cheasapeake (although I am probably seeing the wrong image), and Ranger fine. I just can't see an image of Chichibu.

Hope this helps.

That is because I shifted them last night to allow for some doubles of the artwork. Since everyone did such nice work I wanted a 1941 piece of ship art and a later piece, reflecting changes, that shows the end configuration.

I keep updating the Mods as I work. Am now on 4.4 as I did the art work changes, worked aircraft research some, and re-arranged some shipping.

Michael or Kitakami: Can either of you take a look at Japanese starting engine production and see if things are good?

I don't see anything too far off. There will have to be expansion, of course, but that is to be expected. The Ha-32 and Ha-35 felt a bit high on the first pass, but after checking both starting production and research, they are not as unnecessarily high as I initially thought. Besides, drains to the Japanese economy tend to make for a good game :)

I plan to wait out the rest of the week while people look around and make comments. If there is no crisis then we'll do the Operational RElease and both Mods. I'll then bring Treaty up-to-date and release it.

RA needs a complete re-tooling and Michael and I will need to do that.

(I'll add to this list if and when I find stuff)

1. There is no graphic for the A7M3.
2. I see no production nor replacement rate for the PV-1N Ventura night fighter. In fact, I see no squadrons flying it. Is that as intended?
3. Same with the PV-2 USN bomber.
4. The F6F-3N night fighter does NOT upgrade to the F6F-5N night fighter. Is that correct?
5. There is no graphic for the D4Y5.
6. There is no graphic for the B7A3.
7. There are no graphics for Tokachi and Kushiro.
8. Chichibu has 24!!!! ammo in one of its torpedo banks, and 2 ammo in one of its 25mm AAA batteries.
9. There is no graphic for the G3M4-Q.
10. There is no graphic for the G5M2/3.
11. There is no graphic for the G8N1/2.
12. The service rating for the P1Y1 is 4. Is that correct?
13. There is no graphic for the Yasukuni.
14. Nevada & Oklahoma have zero starting ammo in one of their .5 in AAMG banks.

Point 7 is the only one I can jump on immediately.

The aircraft art issues shouldn't be. None of those planes SHOULD be missing art. Will check it out.

2-3-4 will be looked at.

Thanks!

Didn't we discussed the new experimental Japanese 'shotgun' torpedo launcher on Chichibu? One launcher with 24 reloads...BANZAI!

Before the cryers jump in---I shall fix that error ASAP.
