I have Case Blue, Blitzkrieg, and Operation Barbarossa, I find all three to be enjoyable [right now I am strongly preferring Case Blue and have played it for over 100 hours, but I also enjoy the other two], and I was wondering, what is next?

I have Gary Grigsby, both War in the East and War in the West [I just bought the west and have yet to launch it]. I have played around with the War in the East and it seems I must first really sit down and read the 300-400 page manual because the game is not intuitive and cannot be learned by doing/playing.

I like that with Case Blue the tutorial + skimming the manual + doing/playing results in knowing what is necessary. One doesn't have to read the entire manual from front to back as though it were a novel, it is sufficient to load the PDF of the manual and use it as a reference when it is needed.

I would like to see a Decisive Campaigns 1941-1945 covering the entire German-Soviet War, or at least 1943-1945, or perhaps from Operation Bagration forward.

I like the scale and depth of Gary Grigsby, but I find Decisive Campaigns to be more accessible and intuitive.

It would be great to see a Decisive Campaigns War in the East, covering the entire war, and it would be well worth anywhere from $50 to $100 for such a game, at least to me it would be.

Also, the Decisive Campaigns games are easily modded [at least I find them easy to do basic modifications to], and this is another great selling point.

Hi 75Pak,

I won't be making another Decisive Campaigns game but Vic (who made the first two excellent games in the series and who also did the AI on DC3) has said that he may well do so in the future.

Vic is currently occupied making an intruiging SciFi game called 'Shadow Empires' that has a strong military focus. You can read his development blog here

Shadow Empires

He would be the best person to speak to about it but he's indicated that it'll be out sometime next year.

Cheers,
Cameron

Hi lancer,

although you are not planing any other games like this, I would like to congratulate for the work done.
A fresh and unique approach and I am recommending this game a lot!
Thanks.
