In the attached file, all 6 AIM-120D fired by Stinger 1 overshot the J-10, and it seems that in v1.13 many missiles are more likely to overshoot the target, so is it designed to be so or it is an unexpected side effect caused by the new feature?

Unable to reproduce the problem here (using B972.2). Anyone observing this?

This was the message that I was referring to:

2/22/2014 3:59:13 AM: Weapon: AIM-120C-7 AMRAAM P3I.3 #120 is attacking MiG-29 Fulcrum A with a base PH of 95%. PH adjusted for actual target speed (740 kts): 100%. MiG-29 Fulcrum A has nominal agility: 4.5, adjusted for altitude: 3.7. Agility adjusted for proficiency (Regular): 2.96. Aircraft has a weight fraction of 0.28 - Agility adjusted to 2.46. High-deflection impact (no effect on agility). Final agility modifier: -25%. Final PH: 75%. Result: 36 - HIT

I have a question about the A2A engagements. Listed above is a typical engagement that I have seen. Notice the original PH is 95%. The target is traveling pretty fast, at 740 kts, yet the NEW PH % is now 100%. It went up, despite going faster.

In all previous versions of this game, traveling at higher than normal cruise speeds usually lowered the PH%, not raised it.

Is this an intentional revision to account for some new formula, or is this an oversight?

Can we please have one thing per thread?

I loaded the OP's scenario and reset Stinger #1 and sent it after Warhorse #18. The engagement unfolded as expected, just luck of the die roll.

This is with B972.2

Hello! Here is another save file, you can see all 12 AIM-120D fired within about 20 nm from their targets by 2 F-22s overshot their target. Is it intended to be so?

Please provide a save from the moment the F-22s fired the missiles.

I did this test again: testfired is the moment when f-22s fired the missiles and testresult indicates the result: all the missiles overshot again.

But I ran it several times and none of them hit the target..... So are you using Build 972.5 for the test or previous version like v1.12?

I'm using v1.13.1 B972.4, that was the update available from the Matrix server yesterday.

Thanks, I know that it is there. I'm just waiting for the official release of Shifting Sands.
