Good Afternoon Guys,

I was wondering if there is a way for me to get some detailed information while monitoring an air engagement for a particular unit . lets say a MIG-23MLD that was recently engaging an F-15C
the information i am after are things such as:

AoA

Side slip angles

Drag polar at different Mach numbers and different altitudes

can command project such information if needed ?

In my 600+ hours of playing it I've never seen any of that displayed. CMANO takes a truly impressive number of factors into account under the hood, but at the end of the day a BVR fight boils down to a hit percentage roll (that you can affect in a number of ways). WVR fights turn into not-particularly dramatic circling matches augmented by hit percentage.

I personally put a lot of faith in the endgame logic of weapons as modelled, and treat this as a reasonable representation, rather than a highly detailed depiction when it comes in air to air combat. After all, I can't micromanage every single jet in every single engagement.

That said, the professional edition can tie into TACVIEW which gives some extra information, at least when I use it in flight sims. While I'd love to see that in the public edition, it isn't currently. If you're seriously interested, contact the development team for more info.

I honestly don't think any of that is important at commands level of simulation but yeah tac view is as close as you can get to that, but its only available to professional customers.

In short no this is not possible.

What would you do with this info?

If this info is really important DCS or another flight sim might have the level of detail you need. CMANO simulates at a much higher level.

I'm interested on what you would DO with this level of information, is it to challenge the outcome of a particular air to air engagement ?
