Is there a way to put pictures in briefings without having to host them on the web?

I can't seem to find a way to have the code point to a folder on the hard drive.

Thanks in advance

The way to do this would be through scenario attachments. That way they are kept with the scenario when it is distributed.

However, at present you can't attach these.
You can use the 'file:///' as the href, but you need to tell it where the file is as in file:///C:\Command\Scenarios\Steam Workshop\CommunityScenarioPack\Marinha do Brasil - PASSEX 2010 - Carl Vinson, 2010.jpg.

This would be of limited use though.

I did this once but for the life of me cannot remember how. It was in NF4 Cold and Lonely place.

Am away from the game so cannot check but that may give you a clue.

One slash is odd. Right format is "file://" + absolute file path

A better approach is to create your own HTML file with the image local to the scenario.
I have attached an example. Unzip all files into the scenario folder and load the scenario 'Test - Replenishment' into Command.
You should see the local file show up in the scenario description. It also explains the steps if you scroll down paste the image.

When you want to release the scenario to the public, you can include the HTML and image in the distribution file
Another approach is to include the image as an attachment (use the movie option), and then change the image reference to point to the attachment.
example <img src="..\..\AttachmentRepo\85eff908-1cfd-4e4c-9530-ad2a1071708b\2.jpg"> in your local HTML [ note the assumption here is that your scenario will be saved in a sub-folder of Scenario, such as Community or Steam Workshop.]

The first approach is probably more reliable, but I like the second one better from a 'recycle' perspective.
