Want to use the coupon. Want to buy a few games that I have been wanting for some time. But shipping is just crazy. Five boxed games $40 shipping?? Seven boxed games $60? Are you kidding me? There is just no way it costs $60 to ship seven boxed versions. I am sure Matrix isn't getting this money but they have to revisit how this calculated. Arrrghhh! I ended up buying Strategic Command on Amazon because of the unreasonable shipping charges on Matrix. Maybe it is FedEx. Much as I hate to suggest them, what happened to the USPS option?

Nothing wrong with the US Postal Service. That's who Amazon uses a lot. It isn't what it used to be.

With the sales, I am ordering two games for 22,98�. If I am upgrading both games to box, it costs me 23�.
Shipping is as expensive as the game.

I thought the problem was solved with a retailler in Germany to limit shipping prices.

I agree they can be prohibitive but that seems to be as good as it gets.

I'm always willing to pay for boxed version for games $29.99 and higher, but now often consider and sometimes buy digital version only because the shipping prices are so high. Ah for the old days of just being able to but the games in stores without any shipping. Or so I like to remember anyway. I use to be able to get a phosphate at the Drug Store counter for 5 cents. An Avalon Hill Board game under $10. Man I'm old!

Amazon has set a very high bar for direct mail costs.
