If you slow the units speed (100) you get a graphical animation trail which looks like multiple units moving both on 2d and 3d. the higher the number the slower the units move.

Yes, like mouse trails, is that intentional?

i would be guessing, but it sounds like a feature to me, but the dev's would have to confirm it, but yes can see the uses of it, for some minor sight loss players

I don't think it should doing that, doesn't look right reference to units moving slowly, also doesn't do it when units are moving at a faster speed.

Okay thanks.

Any way to slow down "NO Delay" in the Player settings? that would solve the problem.

cdcool,
Each unit move has 6 animations, the animation delay is the number of milliseconds between animations. NoDelay sets that to 0, as does holding down the shift key. Someone had asked me to allow them to slow down the animations, so that's what that feature does. It seems to look fine at the default speed.

Does that answer your question?

Ralph

Thanks, I would like the units to move slower using the Animation Timer say 100 and not have a graphic trailer or way to slow down "No Delay" which has no graphic/mouse trail effect.

I'll take a look at the animations, but it will be a while. If I remember right, it's driven by a timer so I'd have to save off the old map state somewhere. I don't want to slow things down too much for the normally-animated people.

Okay, I thought maybe an option, the trailer behind the units looks weird in my opinion. Makes it Look like the game is struggling with graphics.
