I'm just on turn one, so I can't comment on much other than Avalon Hill's "Blitzkrieg" was my favorite game of all time.

Question: How many hours did I waste away playing that game?

Answer: Not enough!

If the game is any challenge at all, this makes the OAOW-4 worth the price all by itself.

I wonder if there is anything resembling AH's "Stalingrad" included?

May I suggest Wintergewitter. I'm thinking it's about Stalingrad and the attempt at a breakout during a serious
winter storm. I don't know much about it but I've heard good things. I'm trying to talk you into playing it and doing
an AAR so the rest of us will find out about it from you. I've attached the scenario here below.

I've played Wintergewitter and it is an excellent model of the Stalingrad campaign. However, it is not the same as Avalon Hill's "Stalingrad" that KGrob refers to. For that, just pick the smallest eastern front scenario you can find. It will still be light years ahead of the original "Stalingrad".

KGrob, my favorite, too. Give me a chance to get up to speed with T4 and I'd be pleased to play a PBEM game with you. Be advised that due to my work schedule, it will take me a while...

You guys are making it sound like I'm the resident pro or something. NOT.

It's been forever and a day since I played a previous version of this game and I'm finding I'm having to relearn a lot (A Whole Lot !!!).

Lots of fun though.

I went to copy this one into my WW II - East Front folder and it says there already was one with this name. Is this a different scenario or a copy than the one that comes with the game?

Speaking of Blitzkrieg, has anyone ever done a TOAW scenario that replicates the old AH Game?

I'd have a look at the MRPB and AD values, as well as tweak the new rules/incorporate them, such as RFC scalar, naval scalar, etc.

Have you considered playing Blitzkrieg on Vassal?

I am playing a ladder of AH's Afrika Korps using Vassal.

The AI is fairly good so far. (Or I massively suck because I'm totally inexperienced!)

I don't know what "Vassal" is but I wrote it down so I can look it up a bit later.
