i was on the beta for it, so kind of bias tbh, but it all depends on if you like deep space game

and what type you play now ect

best advice before you buy is watch some twitch feeds and utube video's first and make your own mind up, there's plenty of them.

but its a massive game, and tends to take a long time to play, but you can also make some custom smaller maps which can take less than 4 to 8 hours etc if you play well

put Polaris Sector twitch into a google search

or

put polaris sector youtube into a google search

Thanks will do. Did some reading on the site you mention. Going ahead and taking the plunge for both PS/PL.

How is that?

I've had a huge amount of fun out of Endless Legends so have been tempted to pick it up

Its growing on me.
Quite like endless legend.

Polaris sector is remaining unplayed.
I built big empires polaris sec empires that took ages. And then they were destroyed in minutes by the AI's billions of ships.
It was quite confusing and ships kept being stranded out of fuel like in star empires Iv and V. Why would a spaceship set off without fuel ? That so annoys me in games. Must I micromanage every damned thing in the space corps?

[Though the worst, and killing delete from hard drive moment for me was WiTP. A convoy sailed the pacific. From LA to Manila. Risking all and taking big losses in precious escort ships.. Only to find all the stores had been left on the docks back in the USA. Never played it again.]

But legends 2 is shaping up quite nicely so far with about 6 hours played.
