This scenario might not be working properly. I set the NVA to computer, but I'm up to turn 9 and nothing has happened. All my units are frozen and the NVA units I see just sit there (I restarted the game with full intelligence.

I took a look and can see that the designer says that the opening turns are boring. I did not read the entire briefing so I wonder if he explains why, and when things start to happen. I would not suspect that it is not working properly, but I am not familiar with the scenario. It does have 180 turns, which is fairly long.

Did you check the theatre option? Turn 2 let's you activate Operation Rolling Thunder.

It works as designed; in fact... ingenious. The VC started to activate as soon as I triggered the Theatre Options and used B52 to bomb supply depots near Laos!

Have fun!

I'm a bit interested too see how, as ARVN/USA, I'll be able to defend area's. I have the 18th and such on Khe Sanh and units that have activated in the south are hard at work preparing for the death and destruction that the Mekong and Iron Triangle will no doubt see.

I have bombers smashing bridges in Laos and running interdiction on NVA moving down the trail. I have VC in I corps and the news says they're activating in IV as well.

Trying to decide how to prioritize my ARVN while we're waiting on US forces to arrive. I don't want to lose a lot of territory in I but I don't think the ARVN really has the capability to aggressively keep VC out of the areas along the border. Right now I've got SEC Bn's defending the main routes/cities and have been preparing my infantry to delve along route 547. Khe Sanh is important to hold cause otherwise until I'm air-mobile I just simply will have to either control the road or send my poor armies through the jungle, haha.
