Sure I once saw a TOAW 3 Stalingrad scenario at maybe regiment scale set in the city...love to see something like this for TOAW4.

Well, yes it is about Stalingrad but it is just the end of the battle with too much countryside for an urban rat like me.

Is there somewhere a scenario about the "real" thing (ie before Uranus) with the original german assaults, Djerzinski Factory, Krasnaya Oktiabr, Red Barricade,Chemical Plant, Mamaiev kurgan, Pavlov House and all the other great places visited by the german tourists? Scale regiment/battalion?

There is a very old scenario created for TOAW I called Turning point. If it can be opened in TOAW IV it may be what you're looking for.

This is how it looks in TOAW 3

Rugged Defense ( http://www.the-strategist.net/RD/scenarii/browse_scenario.php ) has a scenario called "The Battle of Stalingrad" that may come closest to what you want.

Actually, I can take no credit, it is due to Ryan Crierie, who is active here somewhere. He has spent the effort, which can be seen here:
