just go to where you installed the game and in the folder called manuals etc, can't be more precise as don't have the game yet

where have you installed the game, full position? eh default install?

don't worry about the arrow pointing to a opart exe as i took this off another post, as like i said, i don't have the game to check.

the manual for the game is in the folder called manuals if your after something else and it isn't in there, then it either wasn't installed or hasn't been made etc eg manual for the tutorial, as normally it's all in the game manual unless the developer has made extra parts and included them

Hi barkhorn - Click the button ssen below. Some formats are not supported on some computers. I have used a free program called Open Office by Apache. If you have trouble I suggest maybe trying that.

Note that the above is true for any scenario that contains documentation. If that button is blank, then there is no documentation for that particular scenario.

May I ask that you edit your Post Title to 'Tutorial Docs' so that others may find this more easily.

A propos this question "where can I find the manuals?":

Would users be helped if the Manuals folder were also installed in the Documents/My Games/The Operational Art of War IV directory, rather than the program install path where they are now?

It would mean they will find all user content (scenarios with scenario docs, user editable content + also the manuals) in one and the same place and need not venture into the C: install path practically at all any more.

Good idea, maybe even more better if the Manuals had a linked button on the opening screen.

Help (and F1 once I fix it) will open the manual. I'll think about adding a button to the start screen, that's a good idea, I'm just not sure how much room there is if you're running 1024x768.

Hey quit pickin' on me !! lol.

1024 x 768 as it looks here. The buttons don't line up so good with the mouse pointer, but I wasn't going to say anything [yet]
