Hello to all,
In previous versions of TOAW I remember, but maybe I'm wrong, that in the editor was possible to copy and paste the content of a unit (in another unit).
Now is possible only copy (and automatically paste in the same formation) the entire unit.
It is possible copy and paste the content of a unit in another somehow?
Tnx
Angelo

It's 'G' and 'A' if I remember correctly, or the other way.

In TOAW III you can open the Force Editor and then click on the File item in the menu bar at the top. In File there are two things. 'Save Unit as' and 'Open Unit'. These two things allow you to save a units entire equipment list. Then later if you need the same type of unit you simply click 'Open Unit' and the location of your saved units is opened where you can click the unit's copy and a copy is placed in the current formation. Simple, easy and can be repeated without the tiresome scrolling of 'G' and 'A'.

However, it is broken in TOAW IV. It's still there but crashes the game. 'Save OOB as' and 'Open OOB' still work fine in TOAW IV. Those save the entire OOB and then writes it to whatever scenario you have open in the editor.

The Force Editor has become very tedious to use because some of the tools that made it easier to use are now broken.

Th best way to create a core force, unit, to&e can be down with Notepad++.

I also can recommend the old Scenario Editor from Andy; but only to use it to create the .OOB, .force, .unit and .toe files; NOT for the complete scenario!

Ouch!

That feature of copying units made creating new OOBs a snap.

Where do I find that version to download ?
Found this (older version?) but it only got the scenario viewer tab?

Alter Schwede...

I'll go through my archives; no luck; try this:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/f8iljadnnrewsv7/TOAW%20III%20Editor.rar?dl=0

Maybe it works without the installer; but I can also contact Andy if he can send me a cloud link for the installer.
