After 7 years of playing Distant Worlds I have finally found a game breaking bug.

New planets outside of my starting system are not select-able. They are still visable, just not detectable, as in when I click on them they are not selected.

Playing with Haree78's Extended Universe mod and the bacon mod (and a bunch of cosmetics).
I know the bacon mod edits the game exe and as such can lead to a number of problems not intended in vanilla, but I wanted to ask here anyway just in case it is a base game problem.

If I acquire a monitoring station in an otherwise unexplored area (usually the abandoned star base that you have to visit early in the galactic history trail) then planets in systems that are in range of it's long range scanner will be displayed if you inspect these systems. But even though you can see these planets you still can't select them until you have sent a ship to move to or explore that star system just the same as with any other system.

yes, the problem is that even though I have a ship in the system the system still shows up as unexplored and the planets will not be selected.
