Is there a mod to change the brown background colour for the Rumanian units, its hard to tell the difference between them and the russian units ?

The map mod is made by Jison, and at least I prefer the darker "Rainy Day" style. The actual download & installation link might be a bit hard to find through the above link. I've placed my /art directory to a download link, hope I'm not infringing any copyrights here, all credit should go to Jison & everyone who's helped him out in this mod project.

My package preserves the original counters, I find them more functional at least for me.

I took the liberty of editing the map too, there's a fixed hex east of Lepel, near Smolensk IIRC. I fixed it to clear hex, it was awfully foresty in the original version :)

You should just extract the packages to your /art directory. First make a backup of the directory just to be safe.

There is another hex up near Finland that is wrong - X91, Y6.
Also something wrong around the Latvian border near Daugavplis which effects rail conversion.
Good job updating this !

The map is great, among other things is shows ports and some coastal river crossings that were not easily spotted.
