Weird morale values at start of 1941 campaing

I have just downloaded one map that completely changes the lookout of the main map and counters. In theory I think that it shouldnt change anything else but cosmetics. The thing is I have checked that some infantry divisions (I havent checked them all) have weird morale values. Some are at 70, while other (non SS ones) are at 90, or 85 morale.

Perhaps it is just that I havent played as the germans since a long time ago, but I dont recall this morale values at start for german infantry divisions.

I am playing last beta patch.

Is something weird going on or are those morale values normal?

Sounds normal to me. Some of the divisions in the north have ridiculous morale.

If they are AXIS it is normal, if they are Soviet it means that the game is seriously broken and will create at least 20 postings demanding that the Devs do something yesterday....

Yes, they are all axis. So I guess it is normal. Funny, I didnt remember such weird morales values. I guess I have been playing as soviets for too long.

I am afraid so. When you play Axis for a long time you get to know those morale values off by heart. 3 nineties in 18th, 3 in 16th, also 7th division in 4th army. SS Polizei is a funny one as its morale is ahead of its experience at the start. 78th has a different base morale etc. Now I really do need to get a life ....

The Nazis were into methamphetamines, which can do wonders for morale.

At least in the short term.
