In the game USET-80 and USET-80K have the same PoH.
IRL USET-80 has "Vodopad" seeker (similar seeker is used at UMGT-1 light weight torpedo), while USET-80K has "Keramika" seeker (as well as TEST-71MK, SET-65K and other "K" variants). Keramika was the most advanced soviet era torpedo seeker, thus it should has higher PoH. I could not find much info about USET-80KM, most likely it has the same Keramika seeker as USET-80K.

In the game USET-80KM is labeled as non-operational. However it contradicts official documents that can be found online.

Requesting MiG-31M.

Was to be equipped with uprated Soloviev D-30F6M engines, along with multimode phased-array radar. Gun was to be removed, two additional fuselage hardpoints added.

To give more details, an tested air-launched Hit-To-Kill vehicle is the NCADE.

Based on the article: Corbett, M., and Zarchan, P., “The Role of Air Power in Active Missile Defense,” U.S. Air and Space Power Journal, Vol. 24, No. 2, 2010, pp. 57–71

The NCADE has about a 150km range against an ICBM, depending upon geometry. I think 150 is most favorable.

Lastly, the article states that the aircraft will need an IRST style sensor to assist targeting.

1. The Thailand Friagate, DW-3000F is missing from database.
2. The United States database says the US retired the EP-3E Aries, but on the US Navy Website it states they have 16 Left in service

Guys

I wondered if I could request a loadout for a Scenario am working on, I have a scenario that requires C47s to drop a mix of air cargo and troops.
I notice that the DB3000 database has a Dakota in it but it lacks the load out to allow para drops. I seldom bother with the country the aircraft comes from, in my case its Guatemalan C47s am thinking of, but if you guys could update any Dak load outs in the DB3000 that would be great.

You guys I know like to have sources , the first source is the book
Rhodesian Light Infantryman 1961–80 by Neil Grant

This shows that Daks were used in a para role into the 1980s.

History of war cites the standard para load of 28 paratroopers, or upto 10000lb of cargo that could be airdropped.

The AN/ALQ-153 Missile Warning System is a solid-state pulse Doppler radar used to detect missile threats. This Northrop-Grumman Electronic Sensors and Systems Division [Westinghouse] tail warning radar is carried on the B-1B and the B-52H heavy bombers. I’m working on a Spratly scenario and trying to model the new China military installations.


Is it possible to add these units:

Hardened missile shelter (i.e. TEL such as HQ-9)
-66 feet long and 33 feet wide
-armor

I was digging around the Chinese internet in search for informations on the KJ-2000 AWAC's Type 88 3-face AESA, and it turned out that it operated in L-Band (1200 - 1400MHz). Which seems to be old information already, dating as far back as 2011:

Speaking of KJ-2000, I made a quick scenario of E-3G vs KJ-2000, both can be searched as predicted, but only E-3G can ID KJ-2000 in instant, while KJ-2000 gone totally oblivious about its aircraft signature -- it has to be flew at eyeball range to ID E-3G.

Tested with KJ-500, it can instantly ID E-3G once searched, both 500 and 2000 are using Type 88 radar. I can safely say the KJ-2000 ID issue need to be fixed.

Well, in the absence of data detailing the improvements made for the Type 88 and or newer AESAs developed by the 14th Institute for those new AWACS, it is hard to "improve" them, aside of maybe setting their tech-level to "late 2000s" instead of "early 2000s". But what can be changed is the operating frequency, as most information I found point to the direction that the Type 88 is in fact an L-band AESA.

I've made another mistake in my submissions, this time regarding the variants of the G.91 used by the Portuguese and Italian Air Forces. As before, I've edited the original post, but I'll post the changes here too.

Is there a format in which database requests should be submitted (or would it be helpful to create a format), or do we just post links or requests with a "please add this", and leave it to the devs to work out the actual data?

Also, is there anywhere a list of gaps in the database where information needs to be sourced?

It hasn't been fielded yet, and it's still testing at Pax River.

The F-35 isn't being certified for external AMRAAM carriage in SDD / with Block 3F. It's definitely physically capable of doing it, but because the F-35 is meant to be operating stealthily on OCA / DCA missions there's been no customer requirement (and therefore no separation testing) to clear the plane for external AMRAAM carriage. The F-35 is cleared for AIM-9X and AIM-132 ASRAAM carriage on the outer wing hardpoints, but only really for additional self-defence capability when also carrying external air-to-ground munitions.

Do you know if the 6x 2000lb JDAM loadout will be an operational loadout? I.e. expected to be used in a shooting war.

There seem to be a hard limit for the minimum operating depth for towed array sonars.
This limit makes all the towed arrays practically useless on on any of the platformas operating in the Baltic Sea.

There are many documents and references online where Towed array sonars are used in littoral and shallow waters of a depth of 15m, so something needs to be done to make these sonar system work as they do in real life.

I believe the way the Swedes were able to do it a couple of years ago, they basically went to all the places Russian (and American) subs were found forty years ago and used smaller arrays. Even still, you lose a lot of resolution due to the lack of length, and ultimately it isn't effective as you point out. You could also be a mean Swede and get all your fishing boat captain pals to go to an area and flood it with active sonar / fish finders
