Status: offline 		Hello, I posted over on the Steam forum and RagnarWS asked if I could post a savegame here for further assistance. Below is the original post. I'm running v1.13 - Build 972.12.

Hi, I'm still new to Command and running into this little issue of my Tomahawks smashing into the ground for no apparent reason. I just tested with a single missile and watched it correctly terrain follow over a mountain range then when I thought it was in the clear over a less mountainous area it went and smashed into the ground. When I try to set the terrain following check box for the missile it clears the box immediately, yet I can tell it's trying to stay 200' above ground so it's working.

I then went back to a save point to see if the test missile would crash again, but this time it made it out to sea. I've had six Tomahawks smash into the ground at the same exact spot wasting entire salvos... Very annoying!

The message for missiles that impact the ground after the target has been destroyed has been changed to 'impacts surface' instead of smashed into ground

The issue that I'm having is that the Tomahawks are crashing many miles before they get to their target. Almost as if they are not able to terrain follow correctly and end up crashing into a mountain side. Maybe this is expected behavior, but having six missile do this in a row one after the other seems odd.

Status: offline 		I have run it four times now and all 6 missiles make out to sea...where they get shot down. But none crashed. I'll run a few more times.

Status: offline 		In W4's defence, I've also seen this "flying into terrain" behavior by cruise missiles, its just not reproducible so there wasn't much to report.

Status: offline 		Here is an example of this issue, I fired a tomahawk missile at a radarsite and before the missile reached the target it mysteriously smashes into the ground... Again, not reproducible in the autosave.

Status: offline 		Thanks for that Wild_Willie2. Looks like it's not easily reproducible then. It's just that it has occurred multiple times in my current scenario and I also noticed it on a previous one. I was starting to think I had something misconfigured or just that bad at this game.

Emsoy, I'll try to pin it down as I continue playing the scenario so that I can provide something more useful to work with.

Status: offline 		Just ran it 8 more times with no missile failures. One thing to consider is maybe upgrading the db on the scenario. Its 3-4 versions behind.
