TOAW IV conversion of an oldie, uploaded on request.

Der Deutsch-Franzosischer Krieg 1870

Date: August 2, 1870 to January 28, 1871

Map Scale: 2.5km per hex
Time Scale: Half week turns
Length: 52 turns
Unit Scale: Regimental and Battalion

TOAW IV conversion by Silvanski

No modifcations were done except implementing the new bridge destruction and weather rules and setting the MRPB on 4 and the NAD on 100

Note that this one uses the stock equipment. file... The zipfile contains the sce, bmp and a pdf with a timeline of the campaign. All go in your Pre WW I folder

The download in Rugged Defense for this scenario includes a readme.txt file with comments by the author. There's also a BMP for a ballon in 3D view.

I admit to being an idiot. I downloaded this but don't know what to unzip to where. Could somebody please give me a step-by-step walk-through on how to do this? Thanks.

Never mind I figured it out...but I'm still an idiot.

BTW, the Deutschesbund should be the Norddeutchesbund. The former dissolved after 1866. The Prussian added Nord to remind the Austrians they weren't wanted.
