For personal use, I used SIPRES's and PHalen's awesome NATO counter mod as a base starting point for a "high contrast" modification - I find it's slightly easier on the eyes over the long haul (that's perhaps just a personal preference, not sure).

Anyhow, PHalen encouraged me to post them here for general use, so here they are at the following link:

Version 2: US air units updated:

They are organized in folders as per the game ( 'bitmaps/Major_NN' ) for a single drag-n-drop.
