I'm considering starting a new AAR. I haven't done one in years and I'm wondering what is the best program/method for screenshots. Thanks.

I use Paint to mark up the screenshots and then open them in IrfanView to resize them down to 640x480 (the biggest size the forum software will accept). They come out looking OK.

Am using picpick as well. Take several screenshots, crop them and combine into one pic.
There does seem to be a memory issue with picpick so I always delete it from my active programs when I'm playing the game.

I have turned off the option for it to load on a windows start up

Then it's only on if I want it on instead of the inconvenience of having to turn it off everytime I load up my PC unless I want to screenshot something

There is also the inbuilt snipping tool that comes with Windows. Maybe has fewer bells and whistles - but needs no installation and fewer mouse clicks.

When I try to post a screenshot, after I click ok, I get a message c:\fakepath\Screenshot(6).png is not supported. I am using windows 10. Any help would be much appreciated.

This is easy to get around. Just save the file again as a JPEG by changing the file ending type at the bottom. I do it all the time on my MAC since it almost always saves it as a .png. If you have any more issues just PM me.

I notice with pic-pick “floating point overflow errors” that does not seem to effect the program or has caused CTD (yet) but is annoying. But the program has fair tools for being a crayon general .. :)

LOL, "Floating point overflow errors". Well they should have set the number higher than a few decimal points ;-P

Clearly a recursive call somewhere that does not check for infinity before calling again .. annoying as all H*ll ...

I think it's possible to upload files larger than 640x480. It depends on the compression you'll use.
