I've read loads of AAR's and tutorials where people are getting huge numbers for these. 5's, 6's, 7's, 8's, etc.

Playing with latest patch, (not beta), I get zeros for naval and if I'm lucky, 1's for ground with >100 planes per AD.

I don't have 1,000's of planes in this scenario and no mine laying or rocket firing planes that I can see either, just FB and LB with bombs.

To destroy railyards and ports I have to use single hex AD's as I've only got 150 or so planes per AD (not messed with sorties, etc).

Do I need to do the same for interdiction in the none campaign games?

coolts,

I have had trouble getting benefit from interdiction as well. Please if you have tutorial links you mention, I would appreciate them. I am also having trouble understanding interdiction in the game, so I mostly bomb units and sometimes airfields when they seem lucrative. The air game is an area where a much more strategy oriented tutorial is needed since the air game is so detailed and complex. I'd love it if one of the better players out there did a video tutorial on air strategy that went beyond the basics.

I don't really understand how interdiction is better than bombing units in the game.

Interdiction works many units which travel the hex. It also interdicts supplies routes. Unit bombing provides immediate action on the units which are currently in the target hex.

How big is the radius of the target area? What is the intensity, weather, terrain, airgroups assigned, altitude, etc. Iow, providing some details would make it more clear. Save is even better.

I'm stuck in rain turns atm so that won't give a good picture but will add details when clear again. I must be doing something wrong.
