New message. 4 years ago, I've tried 2 MP games. None of them go further the 9th or 10th turn. German looked unhappy with their advances. I've returned to the game recently, and tried new MP games. 1) The first one was nice, but the german was maybe unhappy with his advance, so the game stopped on turn 4 (no news). 2) The second one was with a sympathetic and benevolent veteran, but he wanted to play with a previous of the patch, which was complicated to manage for me. 3) The third one was a guy knowing the first turn of the game close to perfection. He trapped the whole russian army on turn 1 (the first turn was done twice due to a technical problem, and the russian HQ's were routed exactly at the same place, which was very impressive). However, there was a small breach on the south front, delaying to Turn 2 the destruction of russian armies in the south. It seemed to be too much and then i've never received turn 2. 4) The fourth one is ok to play, but has already other games and has agreed to play on a slow pace, so i'm waiting for turn 1. Then, i've still some free time to play a game as the USSR, against a german opponent. This will still be my first real MP game. I'm still looking for a not too experienced german, but sufficiently to advance a little during the first turns, and then willing to have a long game. Ideally, i want to play until the end, whatever a side is winning or not. We have to fight in the streets of Berlin or Stalingrad (or both). I've made some improvements on the standard game rules, so I propose the following ones §without knowing exactly why, but it seems recurrent) : 41-45 Bitter end campaign Soviet +1 attack bonus Mild Blizzard Locked HQ's Full FOW I'm ok to change some of them if asked. I don't use any exploit, mostly because i don't know them, and don't want to know them. I just want to play an interesting, balanced and long game.
