Guys

Another small tactical scenario, this time focusing on the potential operations that F117s would have undertaken in a hypothetical WW3.

I would stress I understand that theres a million different supporting types that would be going in , in the first wave of NATO attackers, this isnt a scenario with those included , the player is supposed to focus on getting his F117s over the target on time.

As ever am grateful for any feedback you guys give

Regards Butch

I like it! Although it was pretty easy, I don't think the WP even could detect the F-117 so it was a cake walk.

Not sure how you could make it harder or perhaps I was just lucky!

Bugger!

Gents I could kick myself for this, thanks for pointing this out to me.

Here's an updated version that should be a little harder.

This is tricky now - MiG-29's keep finding them with their IRST sensors... Fuel is also a real problem if you try and avoid that... oh, and time...

Couple points:

WP Zebest QRF mission has a 35nm minimum set, not maximum. So you have them off chasing tankers over the north sea.

No points for tankers being knocked down.

Once one of the intercept missions engages and kills the F-117s they wander around looking to kill tankers over the north sea. Probably want to set WRA to Shotgun - one engagement and then disengage to prevent that.

I couldn't find some of the targets, perhaps they Lua in later but the fist one is a primary target:

16th Air Army Luckewalde DDR
1st Western Front Charlotefelde DDR
General Staff CGSFG Wunsdorf DDR
MOD Harnekop DDR
20th Guards Army Eberwalde Prime DDR
20th Guards Army Lobetal Secondary DDR
8th Guard Army Lossa DDR

There was an un-named bunker on the WP (not bunker) side in the north west. Wasn't sure if I was supposed to kill it or not.

I like the setup but this is pretty difficult now. Lost 4 tankers and 4 Nighthawks before I dropped a bomb, while one of the deep strikes decided to go looking for fuel 10 miles from its target but still an hour early. I called it quits and will try again later.

Thanks

B

I played the updated version twice. IMO, stealth aircraft in Command are not as stealthy as the real aircraft. Thus, they get shut down by airplanes and Sam's unless they have supporting aircraft. This was my experience when playing this scenario.
