Hi, can someone explain the CM Kung Wo's issue with VX Mk ii Mines. Why is there a red zero? Is this ship no longer capable of dropping mines?
Thanks

Could be, Port size, pool size, or the mine is not in production anymore. Those are the big 3.....GP

The ship is in Sydney and it is Jan '44. In pool = 631, produced 44 last month, and available from Dec '42.

You do not have any mines of the type it needs, VH Mk II. They are out of production.

So, reading the Available From/Till : the date is white indicating that the mine is available to 42/12. If the date was yellow if would be available from?
Thanks for the answers.

No. I think you are looking at the wrong mine if it's the one you highlighted. The VH Mk II is greyed out and if you look at it you have zero and it's only available from 41/12 to 42/12.

you were supposed to get your early minelayers sunk,

those dutch and brit minelayers whose mines do not upgrade
but have cargo capacity can be used for small fast transport missions (if slowly) and as escorts of low threat transport missions. they will keep the subs from attacking on the surface a bit.

Thanks for the tip. I was wondering what to do with those ships...
