Well, here's something kind of strange. In 1.13, upon the surrender of France, the French special forces unit deployed to Narvik would transition to British colors and continue to function under British command until France was liberated, at which point it would revert to French colors. In 1.13.1, the unit simply disappeared from the map when France surrendered. Not sure what it will do in 1.14, but I'm left wondering if this behavior is random or a change in the game mechanics that I missed.

Also, in 1.13, after liberating Greece, I was unable to build any units for that country; Greece simply was not listed among the Allied nations. Again, intentional or a bug?

There is a 20% chance that French Land and Air units in UK territory join the UK (as Free French) upon French Surrender/Vichy.
So its simply RNG functioning properly.

Note: Free French Air units are not as useful as one might think as they cannot be attached to UK HQs.

Thanks for the tip; I wasn't sure that Norway qualified as UK territory, more so since Narvik hadn't yet been captured in the campaign I was running.

It's not whether the French unit is in UK territory, so much as whether it is in friendly territory that is outside France.
