Once a carrier capable a/c becomes carrier trained does it loose that qualification if it is transferred to a land base?

As far as I have seen it still retains the training - even if all of the pilots are changed out!

The personnel don't matter, the commander doesn't matter, once acquired the "carrier trained" designation is never lost by the particular squadron. I'm not sure how it works if a division of a squadron earns it and then the squadron is re-unified. It's really not a major consideration anyways and mostly concerns operational losses for the squadron but generally has little effect on carrier operations. I don't worry about it any more.
