What I don't get is this. Free France exists, but there don't seem to be Free French units anywhere in action on the frontlines.

That's a pity, because a small Free French air force (with ATR of course) or a couple of Free French naval transports can make a lot of difference. I'm missing the "dirty" tricks one can do with the Free French. Suppose they have 3 TRS. They pick a naval action and the CW/US take land actions. Than the Free French take on board the US and CW marines and drop them off at an enemy controlled beach. All in one impulse, without warning. And no offensive chit needed to do this in a supercombined...

Or simply put a Free French INF in Bordeaux with the partisan there.

Or use Free French ATR to drop US or CW PARA...

I love to have a small Free French force available to the Wallies in 1944-1945...

Yes, you are 100% correct, I've not understood that subtly until too late. For example, building out the Free French infantry units and taking a land with Free France when the US takes a naval. I'm just not experienced with these tricks of the trade and tend to not to give them their due consideration. But, I will next time. Or, maybe start in this game though a bit late just to get the experience.
