Status: offline 		What is the best way to use the LCI(R,G,M) type ships? Do you put them in amphib TFs? Seems I did that but after the assault I looked at the ships and they didn't seem to expend any ammo.

Status: offline 		Can't say for sure since I've never gotten far enough into a game to see them in action but I remember reading a complaint a long time ago that they didn't work/contribute to an assault. You might try putting them in a Bombardment TF though.

See Canoerebel's use of LCI(R)s and (G)s during his invasion of Sakhalin island (Shikuka and Toyohara). Just embed them in an amphib landing force and they will bombard during the landing to suppress the defence. What you may have missed is that they then have to be reloaded somewhere, or by an AE/AKE.
