Hello,
Just picked up the game at a discount, hope someone sees this. Seems like your new units/reinforcements show up in Paris. No way to pick leaders though, so they can't move. Do I have to split off a leader from another army, march him back to Paris, then back to where I want them, all at one region per turn?

Yes, you will need to detail a leader for marching recruits from Paris to other regions. It's a good idea to select one leader for this task and move him back and forth as needed. Usually you will have a sufficient number of Activations to spare one for this purpose.
