So having purchased the Chains of War expansion I expected older scenarios to now include the added realism features like 'aircraft damage'. However I see that this is not the case. I tried adding these features through the editor but for 'aircraft damage' it warns that the scenario must have been built or rebuilt after v1.12 for it to be compatible.

How does one tell whether a scenario was built or rebuilt after version 1.12

One of two ways:

- If the "date modified" in Windows Explorer is after May 2017, it likely was built/rebuilt with a compatible database.
- If the database version is 467 or later, it is capable of using aircraft damage.

You can also rebuild the scenario yourself.

Yeah rebuilding the scenario is fairly easy but you should copy the scenario first and make sure you include the .ini check box and then point the rebuilder to the right place (most .ini files are included in the community packs). Best to do a deep rebuild as well.

Some authors go back and update their scenarios, I usually put a COW in the file name to indicate it is set up for that DLC.

I find the aircraft damage and comms outages really add a lot to the feel of the game.
