The Case Yellow: Attack on the Netherlands. This German plan included three army groups: A, B, and C. Army Group B units were tasked with conquering the Netherlands to lay the groundwork for further southward attacks into France and Belgium. The SS - Totenkopfdivision of SS Obergruppenfuehrer Theodor Eicke had the task of bridging and cleaning villages to facilitate the advance of the Wehrmacht.
