Hello all, I'm looking to create an extensive and more thorough list of WW2 events that is sorted by date and country. These events can be nearly anything covering a nations economics, industry, equipment, government and politics, foreign policy and even what ifs or alternative historical paths as long as their attached to actual historical events. Create single events or turn them into a chain. The years ideally would revolve between 1936 to 1945, but events can stretch beyond that scope. Part of the goal is to reach beyond just the big events that most people know about and dig a bit deeper to find those more rare nuggets of information individuals have absorbed over time. I'm interested in finding others who might enjoy creating something like this with me. Other than my own personal interests for such a list, I believe it could be useful to those who mod, or create games, or for individuals who might enjoy a more concise listing of events during this period. No, this isn't an encyclopedia. There are no extensive writings, but rather a clipping about the event. But, this small clipping could lead you to your own research for a deeper understanding. The information gathered here would be openly shared for anyone to do with as they saw fit. Participation can take place two-fold: First, you can simply post event ideas here in this thread. A simple event suggestion could be March 1938, Anschluss, Germany annexes Austria. Second, for those of you who may want to be more actively involved, can request access to edit the file sheet yourself. You would have access to the sheet 24/7 and could create events at your leisure. The sheet would be just a simple googledocs one and a backup made bi-weekly. If you're interested in having access to the sheet for creating events, or just have questions, feel free to shoot me a PM. Additionally, I'll have a set of rules and guidelines in place to help keep things structured for those with access to the sheet. Lastly, after some development I will post a link here so anyone can view the progress and use the info if they'd like. Thanks for reading Sincerely, all the best, Atheory
