A lot of Papuans helped carry supplies up the Kokoda trail during the New Guinea campaign. They also served as stretcher bearers where they were noted for their extreme dedication to getting casualties safely to Port Moresby.

IIRC, there's not a single recorded case of a Papuan stretcher carrier deserting while evacuating a wounded man.

Nice. The BF gives you intel on Buna nad Salamua which are in the adjacent hexes.

Not much use to be honest, that part of the map is a bit of a backwater.

As a JFB, I find units such as these very useful. They're the perfect targets to improve my bombers' accuracy and experience.
