is there any way to modify this game?

I realy liked some of the unit art from the v1.0 and did not like some of the art changes in v2.0, I was wondering if there is a way for me to have the upgrade and some of the old unit art at the same time.

The short answer to your question is no, the "patch" only works one-way. Technically, the type of graphics in question are different and aren't interchangable, otherwise, it would be an easy fix to accomidate you. You can mod the alien faces, ships and star names, though.

Funny thing is that most people didn't like the old icon-like graphics so I changed them. This kind of thing happens after every significant change, though. There are always people who want things the old way.

well, I liked the old graphics but I like the new graphics even better. I would like to see art of the technologies but its not necessary. The game is a lot of fun. Thanks for making it.

Here's my question:
Is it possible to mod the planets? If so, what would I do.
