This is current list of links to my mods for John Tiller's Napoleonic Battles.

Although these mods work with both the JTS and HPS versions of the games,if
you only have HPS versions, you should get in touch with support at JTS
software and they will help you convert to the JTS version so you can get
the latest patches.

I don't have time to run a website, but a list of links to the current
updates will do essentially the same thing.

These are graphics-only mods, so your PBEM opponent doesn't need to be using
it for your game to work.

These mods work with the 'new' Napoleonic engine that Tiller has been using
since the beginning of this century (at both HPS and JTS). They do NOT work on the
old Talonsoft Napoleonic engine from the 90's, or any of its derivatives
(e.g. the Matrix version).

The basic difference between the old and the new engine is that with the new
engine you can play a huge campaign on one gigantic map. The 3D maps for
the old engine were hand-painted, so gigantic maps were out of the question.
The new engine accomplished the large size by using an algorithim and standardized hexes
whose graphic quality often suffered.

These mods were developed as an attempt to address that problem.

Make sure you back up your originals and read the README files. Some of

these mods contain two separate mods, so whatever you do, don't download

them directly into your game.

Some of the mods have two links, one to Box and one to Dropbox. Whenever

there is a choice, always use the Box link because the Dropbox links tend to

point to earlier versions of the mod.

Nice mod.

Isn't it time for JT to up the graphics dpi? The 3D units tend to look a bit fuzzy for my old eyes.

Greetings Philippeatbay,
I have always played w/o mods for the entire HPS/JTS Napoleonic series but your mods peak my interest.
Thanks for your efforts and for posting these mods.

Any mods for the Early American Wars series? (my favorites: 1776 & French & Indian Wars)

In the absence of satisfactory unit portraits there never seemed to be much of a point, so I haven't done anything. The 2D and 3D textures would be fairly simple (and others have done them), but without decent portraits it wouldn't be worth the effort.

I think it's on their eventual to-do list, but don't hold your breath.

The first game in the series eventually got a set of 3D textures, but it took a while.

Not all games have 3d, just sayin... but we tried on this and three artist later it still didn't get done. Have a couple of guys working on it as an ad-on, but we'll see if that get's completed.

Ah ok yes Marengo has, as this is JTS NB battles topic. Just posted as i realised 7YW mod above but i got Philippe & rahamy reply on another forum so no harm...

Thanks Capitaine for your concern anyway.

Update - John Tiller Software (JTS) CAMPAIGN Eylau-Friedland (CEF) Progress

Game out next week at the latest .... final artwork is done and we are just getting everything organized for the final review build. I have the Getting Started PDF to do along with the screenshots for the product webpage along with a check of the Terrain Effects Chart PDF for correct images.

Hoping for Monday ..... maybe sooner if everything goes smoothly.

To me this is glory, the attempt of 3D in today's games is ugly to me but the handsome look of the craftsmanship of John Tillers games in this piece is brilliant. Historical and artistic. 2D is the way to go.
