Has anyone ever seen a combat report or turn.. predict/show something that happens on the very next turn?

We are playing a PBEM game. Latest beta patch is applied, Reluctant Admiral mod, BTSL no 50 scenario.

There is me and another player playing the Allied side and a Japanese commander.

Problem is the combattxt generated differs wildly from what really happens in the game. it is as if telling a combat summary of what could have happened in an alternate timeline.

It started from day 0, even in the day 0 before the PH strike happened combat report was showing the PH strike ! The Japanese hit the PH but what was shown in the report did not come to pass at that time. it was like it was telling the future.

Now the same thing happened about 7 to 10 turns later, it showed the USN carriers in the Port Moresby being bombed where in reality nothing happened. Then nxt turn they were indeed bombed ( because they stayed there )

Is the WITP Ai finally going sentient ? Is he the chosen one ? What happens if WITP AI meets the "architect" / demiurg ? Is combat reporter really seeing the future ? Or just one of the possible futures ?

Seriously people - can anyone help with this ? Has this ever been reported before ?

I can concur with everything.. seems like precognition lol which can be REALLY bad for both allies and axis players.. it shows locations of both sides..

I hope a game programmer or someone connected directly to witp:ae can help.. an actually reason for this not guessing on the problem

As I posted in the main forum, it sounds like you have different versions of the game or the scenario/mod running, creating a synch bug. Some game settings can also cause that problem.

Enforcer - I think different version numbers are not to blame here....we were all on the same page ?

You may as well stop playing now because that ain't going to happen.

Also if you don't want people to guess you would have to actually provide all the details, preferably in the form of screenshots and CR copies.

Enforcer, As Japan you need to move fast and hard in Focus Pacific. The Allies have some real teeth. Also, you need to think outside the box when taking bases. Email me and I'll send you my version which has a toned down Allied. More or less....GP

Well, it is not a mod related, but a game version (exe) file version difference between you and your opponent. IF these are different then a SYNC bug is (very) likely to occur. First try to get both of your game versions in line (game install + patches), then you can add mods, map-mods, graphics and stacking limits updates (both should use the same, but actually I think map mods could be differing if using the same pwhex.dat - because they change the visual things only, also the mod with unit-emblems, etc.).

What you definitely need to have in line:
- game version (same patch)
- Standard/extended map (pwhex.dat)
- Stacking limits (pwhex.dat)
