Try this video in minute 20 you could see Jagers inside a forest fighting soviet mech infantry with their BMPs as support.

Game looks more focused in vehicles over infantry in videos but this is because combat ranges are very long, you need terrain and objetives help things become more into close combat area and to have this usually you need a battle in the middle-later moment, initially range units dominate.
