When you set a fire mission for on-map mortars/artillery, all the tubes are ordered to fire at the exact same square. Most of the time this isn't desired, so many people (including myself) have to go and select each unit and set a mission one by one.

It would be really handy if when selecting any fire mission order (e.g. Fire HE), each click would set a fire mission for 1 unit, while letting you continue to click until fire missions are set for each unit in the formation.

So if you give orders to an on-map formation of 2 mortars, you can click twice to spread out the fire a little, or click twice on the same place to get the old behavior, if that's what you want.

EDIT: It would be nice if it also worked that way when multiple formations/units are shift-selected. Perhaps some text at the bottom of the screen could indicate what type of tube is being designated for.
