Status: offline 		One day I will pick a format and stick to it......maybe. I know Francois has Burma and China on his mind. He has mentioned something
about dinner in Chungking. I find that, well offensive. No pun nor fun...for me. The large pocket of Chinese by Sian has been wiped out.
I was going to tabulate the final casualty totals but thought better of it. No need to lower moral at this point any further in China. The
Wenchow garrison has been a bright spot. The position is a meat grinder for Japan. Although with the Yamato and another older BB TF
hitting the place every couple of days and constant bombardments and air attacks it is on its last legs. Burma will get interesting now
but he has been reinforcing through Rangoon. He has even sent marauding surface raiders down the coast to sink my resupply
ships dropping stuff off at Chittagong and Akyab.

Status: offline 		a little good news filters in from SoPac and SwPac. We recapture Tennant Creek, finding it empty. B17s shift to targets along the New Guinea coast.
In NorPac it is mostly logistics. I am quickly hardening Attu and Adak while redeploying combat troops for elsewhere. There is a lot of sea lane
traffic in the Aleutians right now. For lack of anything better to do in the north, I have ordered Hornet, with recon ships aboard, to raid Wake.
Wake is 99 hexes away from Seattle. Hornet departed on the morning of the 13th. Maybe 10 days out? She does have some older ships attached
though.

add edit: This is (what I have referred to as DESRON 21) DESRON 21-1. The engagement has lifted
our night fighting skills to the low 60s on average for the squadron.

Status: offline 		Congrats on the SCTF battle. Good to see US gunnery getting its due without any Long Lances spoiling the party! Looks like Yubari is in deep doo-doo after that torpedo hit on top of the system damage from the gun battle.

Recon ships on Wasp? Would that be ZP-1 and ZP-2? When those two are tied to the deck, can you still operate planes?

And I am somewhat surprised to learn that your morals have improved as a result of playing this game. No time for hanky-panky then?

VMD-2 (only 3 F2A2P) are "mounted" on the Hornet. If I put two big balloons on her deck it might attract
unwanted attention at 6,ooo'. The last thing I want is some IJ interloper looking for nipples.

As to my morals,.......well lets say I enjoy a liberal sprinkling with a dash of sass.

Did I say morale?

It's Sunday and I try to goad Francois into a turn. Armor reaches the front in northern Burma
and I ordered a counter attack. As a side note, Hornet left port and returned yesterday to
replenish. I have no idea why. She had the fuel to reach her station and return and is fully
armed. I redirect her to Midway where she can top off and proceed to Wake.

Status: offline 		I believe you are correct, I don't have the turn, but probably screwed it up while changing my mind
several times on some of the co-ordination issues, oilers, escorts, etc..

The reaction is again swift in SoPac. This maybe the single best day from the submarine forces. The
spots were reported by Vals on our boats and Searaven gets a damn nice report out. It will be interesting
to see where they are going and their intentions. Being spotted may be enough to force them to
come about. They will enter our search arcs tomorrow in all likelihood unless they put out to the
deeper waters of the Coral Sea.
