The links aren't really clear on it. Would this be one of those conversions that require the ship to be disbanded in Tokyo or can it happen at any suitable port with a shipyard equal or greater to 25?

And do they have to wait until 2043 to do it?

The real question is if they will be added to the Japanese OOB in the next version of RA

What use is the helicopter destroyer if there are no Allied helicopters to be destroyed in WITP:AE?

Hi, I am missing all my autogyros the IJA used for arty spotting and recon. When does Akitsu Maru arrive? She was a Japanese landing craft depot ship and escort aircraft carrier operated by the Imperial Japanese Army (IJA). In some sources Akitsu Maru and her sister ship Nigitsu Maru are also considered to be the first amphibious assault ships. Kayaba Ka-1 were flown off Akitsu Maru (autogyros)

Well for starters that R2D2 on the starboard bow has to be removed. How much will that reduce her AAA.

They could always be kamikazes.

You can check all the arriving ships in the Intelligence screen -> Ship Availability. Akitsu Maru is there in stock, albeit with no airgroups
