I am wondering if it is possible to play multiplayer with more then just 2 players? and if it is also possible to play co-op on the same alliance? (i.e. 2 players, 1 Germany, 1 Japan)

I thought this functionality was added to the last release. Or that at least you could swap the save file to your ally manually...

Some players do this using Hotseat mode and then transferring the save file as needed, and this is and has always been possible to do it this way, but there is no official multiplayer feature to do this in let's say the PBEM++ system.

Actually this is the way I prefer to play my PBEM games rather than go through the server.

Sure, there is a greater chance to cheat, but who cares, its just a game, its for fun and after all who is the cheater really harming. Your imaginary gaming ego! What a joke.

We played a 4player SC3:WiE-Hotseat via Dropbox. It's OK-ish, but not great.
The Trust between us is not the big Problem, but the lack of a replay is.

WiE is fought mostly on Land, so you can fill in the blancks most of the time.

But WaW has the Pacific War in it with 2 big Navys. Thats a different game.
Having no replay is like driving with sunglasses at night, or as one of the Players put it: "No replay, no Game!"

Are the Devs working on a multiplayer with the option of more than 2 Players, or have we to wait for a mod?
